It's a nicely done tattoo and I completely respect your decision to get it, I'd just be concerned about it being in a place people could see it so easily. I wouldn't want anyone to misinterpret it and think something bad is going on.
The personal context is great. The public context is horrible. Especially in America. I would not feel comfortable with that word on my body. Summer and no tank tops would make me too safe, as well. Hah--- typed as I was falling asleep. Too sad*.
Looks great! Really bold. I have six labia rings that are a symbol of my slavehood. No tattoo though :P
If this works for you great, I could just never see myself getting ink related to a relationship, partner or anything that wasn't exclusively me.
