I would advise ditching the zip ties securing the rope. Knot it, and melt the ends so they don't fray out and slip. And to clear coat the wood. Other than that, excellent job!
I'd call it something like "The Impaler". If I was making one, I'd try to see about getting a jack built in so instead of manually raising it you can have the bottom stand over it as you jack it up into them. One of the things I love as an idea is building a Sabian into one of those fake rodeo bulls or even one of those coin operated kiddie rides. It would be for fun, not punishment, so a little different.
