You are perfect and sexy WITH or WITHOUT "hardware". The notion you are less sexy or lacking just because you do or do not get piercings seems dense. Real talk, if you want them, get them. Worst case baring something crazy going on, you don't like them, you take them out and move on. Best case you love it and you have something you enjoy!
