8 XXX : traps

There are several other subreddits that cover the same topic under different names.
Uh except that not everyone posting here is trans.
why's that?
But this sub doesn't just cater to one type of person. Not everyone here identifies as a woman, or as trans, or as a crossdresser, etc. "Trap" is just a general term that can be as all-encompassing as possible, without being serious or specific enough to alienate an entire group. If most of the contributors here felt the way you do, that would be a different story. This is a pretty popular subreddit and I've seen very few posts complaining about the name. Why not start that discussion and see how everyone else feels, rather than just thinking things need to change because *you're* offended?

The name is reference to an internet culture that has existed since far before the creation of this sub. Most of the original user base is from 4chan. TBH I have never seen 'trap' ever used in a derogatory sense.
