IT's purple. Purple is a colour that doesn't appear in the rainbow, it's not an actual colour. It's a combination of red and blue; but the colour directly in between red and blue on the spectrum is green, but when there's no green present, our eyes make up a colour, we call that colour purple. When she moves from light with more blue in it, to light with more red it it, her hair appears to change colour, but in actual fact, the "white" light in use in the room changes, and red (or blue) is accented more than in the other area. In one area the lighting is fluorescent, in the other it's incandescent. Florescent lighting is notoriously poor at putting out red; while incandescent is considered "warm", or more-red. Thus, in the fluorescent light her hair LOOKS blue, in the incandescent, it LOOKS purple. It's always purple.
