Where do i start...? I have never been comfortable or felt normal in my body. I have struggled with my weight, appearance, self-esteem and mental health (PTSD, BPD, GAD) since I can remember. For years I have not been a “healthy weight,” as I starve myself or binge eat to a certain size. At the moment, I am somewhere in the middle of my heaviest and lightest. My body is also marked by self-harm scars, stretch marks and tattoos I impulsively got. I am trying to accept myself and learn to show compassion towards the person I am today.
You do look really good. Do yourself a favor and quit thinking the "barbie" body is what you are supposed to have. As a dad of two girls, I have been preaching to them to be comfortable in their own skin. Do not fall for what society is "claiming" to be attractive and perfect.
