Took me a while to get this one. If anyone else is feeling slow like me: The starting frame is made of four colors. By showing them all at once, the eye averages them into a kind of pale green field with pale red and blue dots, at least for me. Then each source color is revealed in turn (by hiding the other three colors with black) to be quite saturated and bright. Surprise! This is the principle that allows bright red, green, and blue subpixels to appear white in our puny human visual system; zoomed in. And then clarified with a moving black mask. I think?

okay whew, I freaked out. As soon as I opened it, I thought it was a picture and then zoomed it. And the color started changing! Took me a while to realize that it was a gif.
