I'm a semantic purist, and as such in a tiny minority, so I say that in order for it to be sole**S** and hole**S** you should be able to see both holes and both soles. As a plug generally blocks view of the butthole, I prefer unplugged. Of course that's pure preference, and I'm in no position to tell women not to post plugged holes.
