As a CG artist, I'm beyond horrified at this. Best guess is the production company cheaped it out and is going to take the money and run. But they better run as fast as Sonic 'cause they're going to be destroyed in the reviews.

If actual movie Sonic looked like the one on the right I'd be slightly less disgusted. But somehow it looks *even worse*. I'm honestly a little impressed that they managed to get something so appalling all the way to the point of making a trailer without anyone with even a shred of decency intervening.
