The mixed-gender shower scene in this movie legitimately changed how I perceived society. Teenage me questioned gender divisions, and started internally asking why more facilities and activities weren't mixed-gendered. In my Senior Year of high school for Debate Club we had to create a topic and defend against 5 challengers who had an hour to prepare. My topic was that "All bathrooms should be gender neutral." (note, this was more than a decade before the politics over it in North Carolina). My teacher gave me the highest marks of anyone for being able to defend myself.
The shower scene was way better :)
As sexy as Dena was, I'm still annoyed all these years later at no nude Denise Richards. Also in that vein, no nude sexy metal/punk Neve Campbell in wild things. Wtf. Also also, the starship troopers book is infinitely better than the movie.
