I quite like the story how this series got started; the artist, Kiseki Himura originally started posting up the illustration of a cute girl every Monday as a gift to hardworking salarymen to counter the Monday blues. Ai-chan was one of the more enthusiastically received girls and gradually got more coverage ;)
