at that angle, i'm not even 100% sure she could get the sword out of its hook on the wall. even if she did, the monster man could very easily stop her, he does appear to be considerably stronger than her, so grabbing for the sword would just put her in danger, and EVEN IF neither of those points is true, she couldn't really swing the sword to effectively wound him, or even really stab him with it from that angle. but anyway, yeah, i like the animation, i just wish there was more to it. thanks for sharing

The anticipation on her upward movement is coming too early. It looks like she's jumping into that position instead of being pushed up into it. Delay her anticipation by 6 frames and it'll seem like a more powerful thrust.
