As an Asian American here this is super racist. The director hit about every single Asian stereotype from asking for her to squint her eyes and say Ching Chong I’m Chinese, to asking her if she does karate to making fake Chinese accent. People brush this off as play full and since this Is tolerated more than other forms of racism this is seen as a minor offense. But if this was a black girl and the guy was shouting about hey eat this watermelon and fried chicken and taking about how they better get in the van or they would get lynched like their ancestors people would make a bigger fuss. But in western cultures Asian are seen as the bottom rung of shit talking because Hollywood media portrays us that way.
Racist af, and cringe. They are basically insulting her. They did the same with Tiffany Rain.
