It might seem silly, but it's pretty fulfilling as a submissive to learn how to serve tea. For me, it's about the structure and the formality of it. There's a lot of things that have to be done, and timing has to be right. You have to make sure that the right sweeteners, milk and lemon are put out, and are all served at the proper temperature. You have to make sure the teapot is warm, and that the tea steeps the proper amount of time. You have to make sure your biscuits are warmed up, but not too warm, and your cakes, sandwiches, and other sides are laid out nicely and in bite sized portions. You have to insure that people get the kind of tea flavorings and sweets that they want, and remember them for the next time that person visits. It's the type of submissive activity that is easy to criticize or mess up, which makes it an enjoyable challenge for a submissive. It's also a good way to serve your Dominant in more of a lifestyle, service-oriented sense.
