Gotta throw in my support for Keaton here. The first one, anyway. Batman Returns was just a bit too over the top goofy for my tastes. I dunno Bale just never clicked with me, I always felt his portrayal of Bruce was poor, though his Batman was fine, I know people rag on the voice but it works. And I'm very much not a fan of the more realistic portrayal of Batman's villains, though it does make me wonder how a Dark Knight Clayface or Killer Croc would have worked.
Can we watch Adam West's Batman movie?
