The anatomy of this infuriates me. Ready for a diatribe? Even without a chart, it's not that hard to tell where your tailbone is. That's not just a name. The coccyx is - direct quote from [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccyx) - a "remnant of a vestigial tail". As in, "if a human had a tail, this is where it would be". I.E. _not at the start of your lower back._ A tail is a continuation of the spine, so if you had a tail like that, your spine would have to either be some kind of weird, malformed pretzel at the end, or your spine wouldn't actually go all the way down, and you'd be paralysed below the waist.
