If he's on the ship, then that must mean he's coming back from a mission too & had some sort of role in that mission. Who is he? The only two answers to come to mind are Mcree & Soldier, & I'm aiming more towards Soldier. Or, that could be the (co)pilot & the ship is on autopilot.
