I feel like some of these are a ruse to send a racey pic to someone you’re interested in, but still feign being wholesome or funny. It doesn’t put someone on the spot the same way as an erotic pic or dick pic, but it still puts their head in that zone. So, it’s an easy “hey let’s take a funny pic for the girls/boys we’re interested in and see what happens, lol.” Also, an excuse to show off the bod or get comments on it without looking like you’re fishing for attention the same as a solo insta shot.
Man. I wish I had kept pretending to be straight during school and a while after. So many missed opportunities...
