I'm always torn between reactions to things like this. Gut reaction is disgust. Then I feel like a prude. Then I realize that I don't feel disgusted because of the sexuality, I feel disgusted by the idea that sexuality as a taboo is being exploited to push a shitty celebrity's bad girl image. And then I remember that I don't really give a shit, and am only annoyed because other people get offended at the sexuality and my annoyance is different but would get lumped into the same category without the opportunity to explain the thought process. And then I get reflective about all the times I've jumped to conclusions about what motivates the reactions of others. And that is how Miley Cyrus made me a better person... I guess, or something. The fuck am I typing?
