8 XXX : normalnudes

Hi everyone - I've been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I've been gaining weight recently and feeling pretty insecure about it... sometimes I like my body and am fine with it, and other times I just hate it. It doesn't help the my gf has an amazing body (about 30 lbs lighter than me) and it can be hard to not compare myself to her, or. think that I'm not good enough. Which is funny, because she's dated people (much) bigger than me in the past. What bothers me the most is my stomach - I only feel comfortable in certain types of dresses (that hide it) or shirts that aren't too tight (I usually wear an undershirt or tank top underneath to smooth things out). I used to be about 140 when I was 18/19, and would really like to get back to that, or close. I just struggling to accept what my body looks like I'm the meantime (or forever, If I have trouble losing weight - it runs in the family unfortunately).
Why are you insecure? You look just fine to me, certainly nothing abnormal about 'ya.
