It's been airbrushed.
It was common for photo models to shave, because it was the pubic hair that caused problems for the photographers. Two reasons: pubic hair was considered scandalously racy, and because without hair there were more poses possible.
I read some years ago that back then they liked the women to shave because it was easier to do the airbushing.
I hate to break it to you, but for as long as people have been shaving, they've been shaving *their privates ooooooooooooooooooooh*
