I’m going to assume you’re male looking for a female partner here, even though it’s not specifically stated :) I’d suggest you try changing the language you’re using a little - I know a lot of people associate being a ‘bottom’ to being the bottom in a gay relationship, specifically being the receiver in anal sex. While I’m 100% in support of being who you are and knowing what you want, that can scare people off, especially straight off the starting line like that. Saying something like ‘I’m into being submissive’ or even ‘I like it when the female takes the lead and is a bit dominant’ will probably get you a little farther into the conversation.
