Vault Tex actually did something like that. One vault filled with 99 women and one man, and another one with 99 men and one woman. You can guess the survival odds of those vaults.
How long you think it took vault 69 to realize just how they've been screwed long term? Or did the Overseer and most of the vault leadership know what was happening going in? I'm just imagining the poor bastard being the last to get in and very slowly coming to terms and the realization of what exactly happened
