How and Why do lamias always have hips? Snakes don't have hips. They have hip bones, but they are significantly degenerated from lack of use over millions of years. Also, what purpose does the pelvic bone serve? Unless the uterus is in the upper body and snakewomen are viviparous, then there is no need for a pelvic bone to support the fetus during pregnancy. Also, why have such a large lower body, but nothing to use it for other than locomotion?
