Personally, I think a nice tan tile would be different for your cubbords. Then possibly a dark grout?

I'd say go with a hexagonal tile in earth tones. That should compliment the cabinets nicely.

Get something that compliments the earth tones you have going on. The green counter top may look nice right now, but it classes with the brown too much. I'd restain the cabinets and go from there since the counter tops seem like they are there to stay,
