I decided to lose weight when I saw how large I looked in my wedding photos. Lots of stress plus depression caused me to eat my feelings, so I decided to make a change in September of last year. I used MyFitnessPal to track my calories, and the fact that I ate a vegan diet made it A LOT easier to not go over my allotted 1200 calories a day. Seriously, fruits and vegetables are wonderful for weight loss. I didn't exercise much because I work 12 hours a day and I'm always tired when I get home.
I lost 12 pounds in the first two weeks which was awesome. By the time Christmas came around, I was 140 pounds, and in April I got to 122 pounds. Today, on June 11th I am 120 pounds. I would love to get down to 115 but it's going verrrrrrrry slow, but I'm okay with that. I don't want to restrict myself too much, plus I am comfortable with the way I look now :)
I told him I only had ten minutes before getting ready for work. The result?
