Go girl! :) I'm at similar stats to you right now (5'4.5, 170lb) and have a goal of 150. I went vegan in October (for other non health reasons, I was already vegetarian but had a high dairy intake) and have lost 30 lbs so far mainly from diet. I just started exercise recently. Moral of the story: if I can make progress, you can!!
