The advice in the forum is jaded and horrible, espeically towards women. You should be working out regularly. You should doing high intensity work of some kind. Lifting wieghts on a strength program, cross fit, intense plyometrics, sprinting... Anything. Just do it. Don'y worry. You won't get big muscles, nor will you be unattrative. You'll be fit, strong, and the work goes a long way to staying young and trim.
What is the end goal? Is this about what you will look like or how you will feel or living longer? Some of each? Which primarily? Something else? And where are you coming from? How do you feel about yourself? How much of that is about appearance? Are you healthy now? Hell, are your parents healthy?
