They are jewelry models for all those wondering what they are modeling. The spiculum is a hard/time consuming shape to pull off in metalsmithing. Sometimes jewelers prefer the nude model that way you aren't making objects to fit with types of outfits. You see them from time to time in the states but its usually looked at as an insult and a joke for shock value. It kind of has more respect in them Scandinavian areas, I can't explain why with words but if you hung out with these types of people you kind of understand.
They're definitely wearing dresses fit for an emperor, but only the most cultured of people can see them.
