8 XXX : bdsm

I was into bdsm before I knew what a vagina was.
It still isn't cool.
Now, I'm all for people realizing that they have underlying fetishes within them, but to realize it from a piece of fan-fiction has some potential to really mess up some people physically, emotionally, etc. if they don't know what they're getting into or if they choose the wrong person to begin their journey with. Just know what you're getting into first and be safe.
My mom, who is a Christian and very uptight and prudish, asked me if I've read Fifty Shades Of Grey. It was my greatest face palm inducing nightmare realized.
Before 50 Shades of Grey... Very proud to say I haven't read it, and don't plan on reading it
I have the sad coincidence of actually getting into BDSM around the same time as 50 Shades became a thing. I hadn't even heard of it by that point, nor have I read it yet, but I worry sometimes that people will incorrectly make that connection.
It was always cool. Or so I've thought, anyway.
