"Serious" drama movie, Glenn Close John Malkovich. . .at the time, some theaters could secure an exclusive run for one or two weeks before wider releases. The movie was showing at the Glenwood in Kansas City - gigantic screen with opera seating - fantastic venue in a very white bread section of the city. . . The drama unfolds and the audience was attention full on when it gets to the scene where Uma unbuttons and releases those magnificent breasts. . .a loud, collective gasp escapes from nearly every member of the audience. . .it just caught everyone off guard, I still remember it to this day. . .
