I mean if you hold back your suspension of disbelief for a second, technically there should be no reason for putting boobs on a robot body. But it's alright, since this is an android, not a robot I suppose.
Drawing pictures to later blur out sections is the dumbest practice I've ever heard of. Japan is weird.
